Special requests to individualize selected collection items and materials can be accommodated as well - including dating certificates for the river-aged black oak, gold-plated metal handles, and individual amber items. Your requests will be treated individually and directly.

Master Carpentry Workshop

Anna Barons - quality master carpentry workshop, where each item is developed and created with hands and every piece of machinery and equipment serves to support the genuine skill and craft of a true carpenter.

You will find newly built production facility in Riga, Latvia with 5000 square metres of climate-controlled floor space. We have installed the best wood processing machines from Altendorf, Orma and SCM.

The facility enables us to give you the production of anything in range between a single piece of furniture and short production runs, say, a complete hotel interior furnishing, under one roof and with guaranteed handcrafted quality.

News

We have returned from the 21st exhibition Mebel 2009 in Moscow from November 23 - 27. Our booth was located in Forum hall, FB100. It was very busy week for the company team. Living Deco furniture collection has won many flattering words about its design and quality.
Anna Barons stand has welcomed everyone interested in Latvian furniture with Living Deco, Russian Fairytale, Natural Living and New Classic collections. The most popular furniture was Living Deco Master bed with its screaming sizes; visitors even have asked a permission to make picture of them on this attractive bed.

As of November, carrying the recognition sign "Musejie" at the Stockmann Riga department store, next to world's renown brands in children's, women's and home textiles' stores, you will find products of 18 of Latvia's most famous designers and design brands. The time has come to be proud that we wear and use things created by Latvia's designers.

This project was created through cooperation of Latvia's Fashion Foundation and Stockmann, by attracting renown designers and producers from Latvia. From April 22 - 27, 2009 ANNA BARONS will be participating at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile interior design fair in Milan, jointly with the Italian interior producer FORMITALIA, in the exhibition stand No. D11 - D15, Pavilion 1.

We will be showcasing samples of our NATURAL LIVING collection, accentuated by the rare wood material river-aged black oak, simultaneously to be exhibited at the 100x100 Design srl showroom (Via Telemaco Signorini 9, close to Piazza Firenze) throughout 2009.

Anna Barons has just returned from design and interior fair INTERIORS UAE in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and brought back fresh experiences and valuable knowledge.

The Decorex International pavilion debuted this year at the fair and with it - Anna Barons. The fair was inaugurated by H.E. Mohammed Omar Abdullah, Under Secretary of the Economic Department, who paid a short visit to Anna Barons stand during the opening, pointing out the innovative approach to our design solutions and wishing all the success.

In the framework of Design.Future project initiated by DIC - Design Information Center of Latvia, Anna Barons has been invited to participate as one of 7 excellent Latvian furniture and interior design companies to showcase our latest accomplishments at the exhibition "dizains.lv", opening on October 1, 2008 in Riga, Latvia. Anna Barons is delighted to receive the invitation to participate at Abitare il Tempo design and interior exhibition: Days of international design and decor in Verona, Italy. From 18th to 23rd September 2008 we are showcasing NATURAL LIVING bedroom, dining and living areas, as well as complimentary accessories. We are the first Latvian furniture producer to offer a full interior living collection at Abitare il Tempo.

On June 6, 2008, Anna Barons opened its doors to national media representatives and to honored guests, as we presented our first collection of exclusive furniture and interior accessories, NATURAL LIVING.

NATURAL LIVING stared with the discovery of river-aged black oak - a material fallen into a Latvian river centuries ago. Over its life under-water the oak tree has acquired unique structural, color and scent characteristics, becoming a natural black oak. this rare and luxury material has dictated the philosophy of our collection, and the ajour, being the main theme of NATURAL LIVING, is the solution to preserving and using this material to its maximum potential.
NATURAL LIVING offers 25 furniture objects and 30 accessories, using natural complimentary materials - wool, silk, linen, amber, bronze.

After a 2-year detail planning and construction marathon, Anna Barons has opened the doors of its newly finished master carpentry workshop in Riga, Latvia. The grand opening today attracted over 100 of Latvia's top architects and designers, as well as industry and business leaders, offering them an insight into our know-how, technologies and premises.

Anna Barons is an exemplary carpentry workshop, constructed in line with the best international practice and industry advice. To create a piece of individual, exclusive furniture, each of our carpenters enjoy over 70 square meters of individual working space, completed technology solutions to exclusively support their hand work.

We are as of now on our mission to create the exceptional brand of individual living space from Latvia, uniting the creativity of Latvian designers, skills of our carpentry masters and modern technologies.

Collection philosophy

Roots of the Collection grow from the decades of finest Latvian Art Deco era in the twenties and thirties of the past century independent Latvia. We at ANNA BARONS deem it our duty and mission to honor the traditions of Latvia's golden age in carpentry.

You will recognize the manifestation of these shapes and lines in LIVING DECO collection. LIVING DECO carries the spirit of Latvian Art Deco at its base and uses the Art Deco experiences throughout 20th century design world, offering highest quality result and characteristic minimalist approach of our time. Our collection is the manifestation of Latvian and world Art Deco heritage, carrying this line of design into the 21st century.

Collection philosophy

The inspiration for SCANDINAVIAN FAIRY-TALE comes from the richness in style and cultures among Scandinavian peoples. Although different in their expression, in the past decades Scandinavians have demonstrated a unison of simple lines, ingenious functionality, minimalism, and stylization.

Our path of interpretation has led to a result, where some of the finest characteristics in Scandinavian design are showcased in the collection furniture. Notably the lines and stylization, as well as choice of calm, cool traditional colors to dominate the collection, lie at the heart of our way of Scandinavian understanding and story-telling through the collection.

The choice of materials for the Collection lies with Bolivar wood veneer, characterized by a calm ply, yet through our choice of color, it gains a deep and rich final touch. The inspiration of RUSSIAN FAIRY-TALE comes from the richness of traditional culture of the Russian people. Our path of interpretation has led to a result, where some of these most spectacular cultural values are showcased directly in the collection furniture. The flowers and chosen forms show some of these values in a new light through contemporary furniture design.
